About Days From Today
Most people arrive at a tool like this with a deadline in hand: a 90-day notice period, a 30-day return window, a 180-day visa limit, a follow-up appointment six weeks out. Counting those on a wall calendar is slow and error-prone, especially when the span crosses a month with 31 days or a February. Here the start date is already today, so the four quick buttons answer the most common questions in one tap, and the answer comes with its weekday — often the detail that matters, because a deadline that lands on a Sunday usually is not really a Sunday deadline.
The distinction between days and months is where date arithmetic quietly goes wrong. Ninety days and three months are not the same interval: from 1 January, 90 days is 1 April in a common year and 31 March in a leap year, while three calendar months is 1 April either way. This tool keeps the two ideas separate — days and weeks move a fixed number of days, months and years move by the calendar — so you get the interval you actually asked for rather than an approximation. When a month is added to a 29th, 30th or 31st and the target month is shorter, the day is clamped to that month's last day.
One thing it deliberately does not do is add business days. Adding "10 working days" requires a holiday calendar to be correct, and holidays vary by country, state and employer. Rather than guess, the result shows how many Monday-to-Friday days lie in the span it moved across, leaving you to adjust. Everything runs in your browser, so no dates, deadlines or plans leave your device.
