About Height Converter

It is also the conversion where single-box calculators quietly produce wrong answers, because a height in feet and inches is two numbers, and typing 5.9 into a box that expects decimal feet gives you 5'10.8", not 5'9".

This layout takes feet and inches separately and converts through total inches, using the exact 2.54 cm definition, so nothing is rounded until the number is displayed. Going the other way, it splits the result into whole feet plus the leftover inches and also reports the nearest whole inch, with the carry handled properly — 179 cm is 5'10.5", which rounds to 5'11" rather than the nonsense 5'10" plus 12 inches that naive rounding produces.

What range do the charts cover?
