About Round Stamp Maker

The round stamp is the shape most offices use: a ring of text around the outside, a line or two of purpose in the middle, and a border heavy enough to survive being scaled down. This tool locks the shape to a circle so every adjustment you make is about the wording and the weight rather than the outline.

Text around the top curves clockwise; text around the bottom curves the other way so it still reads normally to someone looking at the stamp. Letter spacing is yours to set — widen it for a formal, airy seal, tighten it when the organisation name is long and has to fit.

Add an inner border for the classic double-ring look, drop the tilt a few degrees so it looks pressed by hand rather than placed by a computer, and download the transparent PNG when it reads cleanly at small size.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the bottom text read the right way up?
Bottom ring text is drawn along the curve in the opposite direction to the top, which is how real stamps are cut — so it still reads left to right instead of appearing upside down.
Can I change the star between the two halves?
Yes — the side symbol can be a star, a dot, a diamond, or nothing at all. It is placed where the top and bottom ring texts meet, on both sides.
Is the downloaded stamp transparent?
Yes. Leave 'Transparent background' ticked and download the PNG — the area around and inside the stamp stays clear, so you can drop it straight onto a document, invoice or photo. The JPG option always comes with a white background, because JPG cannot store transparency.
What size should I download?
1000 × 1000 px suits most on-screen and A4 use. Pick 2000 or 3000 px if the stamp will be printed large or placed on a high-resolution scan — it is drawn fresh at that size, not scaled up, so it stays sharp.
Can I put the stamp on a PDF or a photo?
Yes — download the transparent PNG, then use the watermark tool to place it over an image, or add it as an image in your PDF editor. Because the background is clear, only the ink shows.
Is this a legally valid seal?
No. This is a design tool that produces an image. Whether a seal carries legal weight depends entirely on your jurisdiction and on who is entitled to use it — only create stamps for an organisation you are authorised to represent.
Is it free?
Yes, unlimited and free, with no sign-up and no watermark on what you download.
