Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how My Live Count ("we", "us") handles information when you use our real-time live subscriber count and social counter website (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
You can use My Live Count without creating an account. We do not ask for your name, email or password to view counts. We may process:
- Search queries — the channel names or links you look up, used to power features like "trending" and "recently searched".
- Basic technical data — anonymised request information such as approximate country and device type, used for aggregate analytics and to keep the Service secure.
- Cookies — a session cookie and a theme preference (light/dark). We do not use cookies to identify you personally.
2. Public YouTube data
Subscriber, view and video figures are retrieved from the official YouTube Data API and are already public. We do not collect private information about any channel or its owner.
3. Advertising
We may display advertisements (for example, via Google AdSense). Advertising partners may use cookies to serve relevant ads. You can manage ad personalisation through your Google account or browser settings.
4. How we use information
We use the limited data above to operate, maintain and improve the Service, prevent abuse, and understand aggregate usage trends. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data retention
Search logs and aggregate analytics are kept only as long as needed to provide the features described above and may be deleted or anonymised periodically.
6. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised policy.
